Hello dear Domino friend, Imagine closing your eyes for a moment and taking a trip into nature: the sound of birds, fresh air, untouched landscapes… But what happens if, in the middle of all this beauty, your eyes fall on trash left behind here and there? It doesn’t feel good at all.
At Domino, we’re always looking for ways to make the world a better place. This time, we decided to take a step that ensures no piece of trash gets left behind in nature. And that’s how the “Take Me With You” campaign was born— a campaign that became the voice of the trash, saying: Don’t leave me behind… take me with you!
We all love nature, right. But sometimes—out of carelessness or simply not knowing better—we leave our trash behind in natural spaces. And what happens then? A big footprint of waste that stays there for years and harms the environment we cherish.
If these pieces of trash could talk, they would definitely say: “Please… take me with you!” And that’s exactly why we decided, with your help, to spread this message to everyone.
Our idea was simple: let everyone hear the voice of the trash. To make it happen, we collaborated with travel groups like “Orange Rhino.” During their various trips, they shared lots of engaging photos and videos using the hashtag #Take_Me_With_You, encouraging people to pick up trash and take it with them to a proper disposal place.
We’re truly happy that this message resonated with you as well. Very quickly, the hashtag filled up with your photos and videos showing you collecting trash from nature. That means we’re all creating a meaningful change together 🙌
What did we learn?
This campaign taught us that every one of us can be an environmental hero. All it takes is picking up our own trash and making sure this beautiful nature doesn’t get filled with things that don’t belong to it.
“Take Me With You” isn’t just a campaign; it’s a way of living — a gentle reminder that nature is the home we all share, and it deserves our care.
So every time you head out for a picnic or a trip, remember to take your trash back with you. It’s a small step, but its impact is truly huge 🌏
